1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using QuotationX ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Platform, including those participating in our Beta Program.

2. Description of Service

QuotationX is a cloud-based quotation management platform designed specifically for 3D printing businesses. The service includes but is not limited to:

Quotation creation, management, and tracking
3D printing process and workflow management
Product catalog and material management
Cost calculator for estimating 3D printing job pricing
Order and production management
Customer portal for client collaboration
Invoice generation and billing
User, team, and organization management

3. Beta Program

QuotationX is currently in its Beta phase. By participating in the Beta Program, you acknowledge and agree that:

The Platform may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features that could affect functionality
Features may be added, modified, or removed without prior notice during the beta period
Service availability may be intermittent as we deploy updates and improvements
Data stored during the beta period will be preserved to the best of our ability, but we cannot guarantee against data loss
Beta pricing and benefits are subject to the specific terms communicated to you at the time of your invitation, and may differ from standard pricing once the Platform exits beta
Your feedback and usage data during the beta period helps improve the Platform and may be used for development purposes

Where we have stated pricing or benefits in your invitation, those will be honored as specified, including after the Platform transitions out of beta.

3.1 Applications, Invitations and Beta Vouchers

There are two ways into the Beta Program. We sometimes invite a business directly by sending a personal invitation link to a short enquiry form. You may also apply through our Beta Program page. Completing either form does not create an account and does not oblige either of us to anything: it simply tells us whether the Platform is likely to be useful to you.

Places are limited and acceptance is at our discretion. We review every application and may decline it, or decline to run the programme at a given time, without giving reasons. We will tell you our decision by email. An application creates no entitlement to a place, to a voucher, or to any of the rewards described below.

If we then send you a beta voucher, the access it grants is subject to this section and to any duration or conditions stated in the invitation itself. A voucher is personal to the recipient, is not transferable unless we say so in writing, and may expire or be withdrawn if it goes unused. Nothing in an invitation guarantees continued access once the Platform leaves beta, except where we have said so explicitly.

Completion rewards. Participants who complete the Beta Program are offered a discount of 50% for 12 months on any one plan of their choosing, applied to one organization account. Completing the programme means having taken part throughout its stated duration and returned the weekly and closing feedback we ask for. If circumstances stop you finishing, tell us and we will deal with it reasonably rather than mechanically. Completion may also carry priority access to new features and priority support, and the option, entirely at your choice and only with your written authorization, of being listed on our Beta Partners wall.

4. User Accounts

To use QuotationX, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may invite team members to your organization workspace. As the account owner, you are responsible for the actions of all users within your organization.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its related systems or networks
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform, servers, or networks connected to the Platform
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
Collect or store personal data about other users without their explicit consent
Use the Platform to send spam or unsolicited communications
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Intellectual Property

QuotationX and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by QuotationX and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of any data, content, 3D models, designs, or materials you upload to the Platform. By uploading content, you grant QuotationX a limited, non-exclusive license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service.

7. Cost Calculator Disclaimer

The QuotationX Cost Calculator is provided as an estimation tool to help you calculate approximate costs for 3D printing jobs. You acknowledge and agree that:

All cost estimates generated by the calculator are approximations and should not be considered as final pricing
Actual costs may vary based on material prices, machine conditions, post-processing requirements, and other factors not fully captured by the calculator
You are solely responsible for verifying and adjusting estimates before providing final quotations to your customers
QuotationX is not liable for any financial losses resulting from reliance on calculator estimates
Material prices and rates used in calculations should be regularly updated by you to ensure accuracy

8. Your Data & Content

You retain ownership of all business data, quotations, customer information, product specifications, and other content you create or upload to the Platform ("Your Content").

We will not access, use, or share Your Content except as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of Your Content. While we implement measures to protect your data, we recommend exporting important data regularly.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Platform's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We reserve the right to:

Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
Modify or discontinue features or functionality with reasonable notice when possible
Suspend access for maintenance, updates, security patches, or other operational reasons
Terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms

During the beta period, service interruptions may occur more frequently as we develop and improve the Platform.

10. Payment Terms

Certain features of the Platform may be provided for a fee. You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your account according to the pricing and payment terms in effect at the time of purchase.

Where a beta invitation states a price or a discount, that is locked in for the duration stated in the invitation. Standard pricing applies to any feature or tier the invitation does not cover.

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuotationX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

Your use or inability to use the Platform
Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Platform
Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted to or through the Platform by any third party
Inaccuracies in cost calculations or quotation estimates
Any issues arising from the beta nature of the Platform

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to provide you access to export your data for 30 days following termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which QuotationX operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also send an email notification.

Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
